Sonya Markham
Owner
Sonya is the driving force behind SF Design. With over 20 years of experience supplying rugs and carpets, she has a keen understanding of what works and what doesn’t. She is passionate about providing personalised service to each client, ensuring that their unique needs and style are reflected in the final product. This dedication to customer satisfaction has earned Sonya a loyal following and recognition in the interiors industry as the go to person for rugs and carpets.
Sheree Davis
Business Development Manager
Sheree leads our business development and has the pleasure of introducing our latest designs to the A&D market. With over 18 years’ experience in custom flooring and carpet production, she enjoys working closely with interior designers and architects in bringing their concepts to life.
When Sheree is not out and about with rug samples, she likes to spend her time with friends and family at the local bowling club, watching her partner run ultra marathons or sea swimming in our beautiful east coast bays.
Meilin He
Admin & Showroom Support
With a background in spatial design, Meilin joined SF Design, seeing it as the perfect platform to explore interiors and her interest in designed elements.
During her time at university, she learned skills from spatial planning and modelling to crafting presentations that bring residential and commercial projects to life.
Outside of work, Meilin loves staying active and social—you’ll often find her at the gym pushing through a workout or out at the clubs dancing the night away. Whether it’s fitness or fun, she’s all about bringing energy and enjoying the moment.
Olivia Francis
Showroom & Design Consultant
Olivia works with the sales and design team to keep your project moving smoothly. She joined SF Design part time during her final year studying Visual Arts and is now a permanent member of the team.
Outside the showroom, Olivia enjoys painting with oils and has a particular passion for colour and florals.
Zoe Dewhurst
Designer
With a background in graphic design and fine art, Zoe works with the sales team and clients to translate their briefs, ideas and concepts into beautiful rugs and carpets.
Blending technical skills, creativity and an appreciation for spatial design, Zoe enjoys seeing her artwork come to life as beautiful rugs and carpets.
